Our Log Cabin Guest Houses
Agarita Creek farms currently has two guest houses available, the Braeutigam Cabin and the Behrends Cabin, each
named for former owners of land now held by Agarita Creek Farms. Both houses are two-story square log cabins constructed
in the German style. These guesthouses, each with two bedrooms and aproximately 1500 square feet, each have stained concrete and wood floors, modern appliances (including full kitchens), atrium living
and dining spaces, a mix of Mexican, American Indian, and pioneer furnishings and touches, and ample front porches with
panoramic views of the farm, neighboring farms, and Fredericksburg. We believe that no comparable accommodations are available
in the Fredericksburg area.
In 2012 we will complete the main farmhouse. There will be a separate and private guest suite
perfect for one or two guests.
The main house will also have meeting and event space, and will be at the center of any visit to Agarita Creek Farms.
The Behrends Cabin
Slightly smaller than the Braeutigam Cabin, the
Behrend's Cabin is big on style. It features a full upstairs loft space, which is the largest bedroom in
either cabin and overlooks the entire living and dining areas and the large limestone fireplace. It also features a
completely separate kitchen. There is a bedroom and a bathroom downstairs.
The rates for the Behrends Cabin are $250 per night on weekend and holiday nights and
$175 per night on weekdays and non-holidays. We offer reduced rates during January/February and July/August.
These rates will appear when making a reservation for these time periods.

The Braeutigam Cabin
Slightly larger than the Behrend's Cabin, the
Braeutigam Cabin features, in addition to the amenities listed above, a second full bath (upstairs) and a
convertible queen sofa accommodating two extra guests (making sleeping space for six). Downstairs, it features a large
master suite, with a garden tub and a talavera tile walk-in shower.
The rates for the Braeutigam Cabin are $275 per night on weekend and holiday nights and
$195 per night on weekdays and non-holidays.

Note: In keeping with our guest to enjoy a truly relaxing departure from everyday
life, there is no cable or satellite television service and there are no telephones in the guest houses at
Agarita Creek Farms, and no Internet service. Most cell service subscribers receive a strong signal for
both data and voice from the guest houses however. There are, in addition, a radio/CD players with iPod docks in the cabins, for those of
who must keep up with what is going on in the outside world. There are also televisions with DVD players,
for those days when a good movie, yours or ours, sounds like just the thing.
